Celebrate Health

A healthy flavoursome teriyaki sauce without the added nasties.

Celebrate Health is on a mission to create healthy, flavourome food that is gluten free, dairy free, vegan friendly, nut free and 100% natural. Their teriyaki chicken recipe base uses stevia, instead of added sugar, to reduce the product’s sugar and fat content.

Medibank member Kim fired up the wok to review Celebrate Health’s teriyaki chicken stir-fry.

How did you use the product?

I made a teriyaki chicken stirfry that was listed as a recipe suggestion on the back of the pack. It was a simple, tasty dinner to whip up after a class at the gym.

What did you like about it?

It was easy to use, not overly salty the way some stirfry sauces can be and had a fresh, slightly sweet taste. I like that the ingredients listed on the packet are all recognizable and the list isn’t scarily long.

Did it contribute to better health?

Sometimes when I cook without a pre-measured sauce, I tend to be a bit heavy handed with seasoning and sauces. That can lead to tasty but intense flavours that leave you needing a few glasses of water later. This recipe base tasted clean and was a great way to add measured flavor to a healthy meal.

Any tips for people who use this product?

When following the recipe, I used the suggested vegetables but I think you could add in a bunch of extra veggies for a bit more variety. You could even pop in some chopped fresh chili for a bit of a heat hit.
